As part of a public-history focussed unit in her final semester of a Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Sydney, Sally sought an opportunity to combine her passion for both food and history. She approached the Monday Morning Cooking Club with an idea, and, risking cliché, the rest is history. Her work, so far, has involved helping with writing the stories that will accompany the recipes of MMCC’s next book as well as mapping the heritage of those cooks who have contributed in the past. Beyond study, Sally loves cooking and writing – with this project opening her eyes to the possibilities to combine the two as she considers her future after University.
