  1. Remove the stones from all the fruit except for the cherries. Chop the fruit into large dice and put into a large bowl or container. Pour over the vermouth and wine. Refrigerate 24 hours.
  2. Just before serving, add the mineral water and then the cordial to taste.
  3. Pour into a large jug (you may need two) and add ice to serve.
  4. Don’t forget to remind your guests that the cherries still have their stones.
