Monday Morning Cooking Club – the food, the stories the sisterhood (2011, softcover. RRP $40)
In 2006 we came together to find the best recipes from the best cooks in the Sydney Jewish community. After just a few weekly meetings, the Monday Morning Cooking Club was born and a legacy of food and recipes spanning many cultures and generations began to take shape. Five years and hundreds of dishes later, we handpicked our favourite recipes for publication in our first book. More than 100 culturally diverse recipes from more than 60 cooks have been tried, tested, and refined for inclusion in the book. Each recipe begins with a short story of the cook and their history of the dish. These stories interweaved with amazing recipes, narrate the rich and personal history of far-flung communities and families who find a deep connection through food and the memory of generations that have gone before.
Now for Something Sweet (2020, hardcover, RRP $50)
In this stunning fourth book, we have handpicked our favourite and ‘can’t-live-without’ sweet recipes from Australia and the world. Uniquely, the book contains a series of essential ‘how to’ guides for the home cook and ends with a savoury chapter you will delve into over and over.
The Apron (RRP $75)
The apron is brilliant! It is specially made in Australia for us by Cream Collection. It is a wonderful-to-wear slightly-stretchy (yay!) grey organic cotton complete with a pocket for each of your glasses, pen and phone. It has a super generous waist tie which doubles as a tea towel holder.
It comes in 2 sizes – regular and small. Merelyn + Natanya are wearing the small, and Lisa + Jacqui the regular.
Please let us know which size you would like.
